Quick-Lock Adjustable Dumbbell System 45 lb Set

Very happy with the set. I got the 45# set with heavy handle kit, and 20 extra pounds. This brings me to 70# per bell. To me, this was more versatile than buying the 75# set. Cost just a few bucks more. I am coming from 70# Power blocks. Couldn't do decent Goblet squats with those. The only thing I've noticed is the balance. Because they are square, the tips want to point down. So I had to learn how to pick them up to compensate. Adjusting loads is very easy once you get the hang of it. Have fun and keep lifting!

Everything about this dumbbell and thr company is appealing. The whole feel of the website, the purchase, instructional videos, and the product itself feel nongimicky and no nonsense.

The dumbbells are strong and simple with no small parts to worry about breaking or being gentle with. They're easy to change and you don't have to be careful when you set them down. You could throw these across the yard and I think they'd be as good as new. And best of all, they're not wide compared to a lot of other adjustable dumbbells. Catch these on sale and you can't go wrong.

I finally grabbed a pair of these, and I am very happy with them.

I basically replaced a couple of hex head 20's and 25's and an oldie but goodie Bollinger twist on Adjustable set that could go up to 50lbs each. The Ironmasters give me up to 45 in a small footprint and they really do change out fast enough to be worth while! I will add the heavy hands next and thats about all I'm ever going to need. I used to do chest flyes with 60 to 80 lbs. but I dont really need more that 50 or maybe 55lbs now at my age.

That is plenty. I really do love the Ironmaster stuff. It just gets the job done, and does it all well. It's great to finally have them!

I was worried about the handles being long on the inside measure, but they are fine, and the heavy hands will make them

perfect I believe. No issues, quick changes. Efficient space-wise.

Just Great, Really! Get some!

My 45 LB set arrived fine but initially, one of my dumbbells, which was separately packaged from the other one, arrived with 2x2.5plates already locked in. Because the other dumbbell didn't have them already locked in, I was confused and concerned that the packing team forgot to include the 2x2.5's for the other dumbbell. Needless to say, everything I was expecting was included in the multi-box shipments, but Ironmaster could have given me a heads up that one dumbbell would already have the 2.5s screwed in. The second issue I had was with the same dumbbell where the 2.5s were already screwed in. It took me 25 minutes to unlock one side, and I almost resorted to heavy tools to twist the locking mechanism before another try finally budged and loosened the extremely tight dumbbell. Overall, the dumbbells are as I expected and I am using the heavy handle plates with them, which were very easy to install.
