Description
Super Bench PRO V2
The best got even better! You asked, so here it is, the improved Super Bench PRO Version 2 with customer-driven updates: Loaded with new upgrades while retaining all the great features of the Super Bench PRO and the original Super Bench. The Super Bench PRO bench has been discontinued and replaced by the V2.
Summary of Main Improvements
Below are the key modifications we made on the Super Bench PRO (SB PRO #1002) to transform it into Version 2:
- Integrated bench handle makes it easier to tilt and roll.
- Laser etched numbers on the locking ring so you will always be sure of the exact pressing angle. (Numbers on one side as shown)
- Standard hybrid dual width bench pad. Uses our original heavy duty leather pattern vinyl and gives you two width zones.
- Additional higher incline seat tube insertion point for better overhead pressing position.
Fully adjustable and functional
Perform different kinds of exercises with the Super Bench PRO V2. Its 11 lock-out angles give you incline, decline, flat and upright positions for a wide range of movements.
- This bench can be angled at 0, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 85 degrees.
- Note: we recommend using the Crunch Situp attachment with the bench for decline angles to help hold your legs. Minimal angles are possible without the attachment.
- The incline seat has 3 positions. The incline seat height in the 85 degree position can be set to either 12.5", 14.5" or 23.5" from the floor, while the top of main pad is 24.5" above the seat in the highest position. Top of main pad is 35.5" in the lowest incline seat position. 33.5" in the center position.
- Stands up vertically to save space.
- Base dimensions: narrow foot is 12.5" wide and longer foot is 21" wide. Bench length is 47" overall.
Compatible with the Ironmaster Super Bench System of Attachments
The Super Bench PRO V2 can be outfitted with most Super Bench attachments. All accessories with names that have /PRO in the are completely compatible with it. If you're unsure of the compatibility or need an adapter for some of your equipment, feel free to get in touch with us.
- Use with Ironmaster attachments like the Crunch Sit-up, Dip Bar Handles, Chin Up Bar, and Preacher Curl.
- The Leg Attachment PRO designed for leg extensions and leg curls is designed to fit this new bench specifically.
- Use with the Cable Tower, Hypercore and more. Note: We have developed a new universal bench adapter, which is included in current stocks of the Cable Tower. This can be purchased separately if you have and older standard Cable Tower pieces that were only made to fit the original Super Bench.
Comfortable workouts
From its lower height to the solid feel of its commercial quality pad, the Super Bench PRO is designed with your comfort in mind.
- Its high-density commercial grade pad is 44" x (10.25"/12.25") x 2.5" thick and makes use of durably stitched vinyl upholstery making it firm and comfortable.
- The incline seat pad is tapered towards the front to give your legs more room to move and can be adjusted up or down for optimum comfort.
- The incline seat moves with the backrest pad at any angle so they will always be perpendicular to each other, unlike other benches where the seat can have a shallow angle causing the user to slide off. This seat can be removed, leaving a large gapless pad.
Easy to assemble
Apart from the feet, the Super Bench PRO is pre-assembled upon shipping. It only requires simple tools to set up so you can practically start working out a few minutes after taking it out of the box!
- Pre-assembled parts will save you time and effort in setting it up.
- The dual-position incline seat easily plugs in from the side without any pins.
- Its unique machine-cut ring with foot lever adjustment can be operated from both sides of the bench and clicks into place instantly for secure positioning (patented design US 6,994,661).
Compact, lightweight and movable
The Super Bench PRO V2 is the ultimate space saver in your gym. Compact and lightweight but still ultra strong. Wheels and a convenient handle have also been included as a standard accessory for the equipment instead of an optional add-on so you can move the bench around your gym or roll it out of the way after use with ease.
- Everything stays intact even when you lift or move the bench. Nothing unfolds or needs to be dismantled prior to moving it around.
- The bench alone weighs 65lbs without the incline seat and 69 with it. (Shipping weight 79lbs at 50" x 13" x 19".)
- Its ultra-strong platform is still light enough to lift and move even without using the wheels.
- Complete with transport wheels on the longer foot tube. (You can install the wheels on either end of the bench as desired; plus, kits for both an additional wheel kit and bench handle are available if you want to have wheels and handles on both ends!)
Superior construction
Like its predecessors, the Super Bench PRO V2 is manufactured from top-rated materials for superior build quality.
- Constructed from 11 & 12 gauge super strong steel frame, this bench has a 1000-lb weight load capacity in the flat position.
- It has a 600-lb weight load capacity in incline and upright positions.
- It includes a unique laser-cut ring with foot lever adjustment that can be operated from both sides of the bench (patented design US 6,994,661).
- Its high-density and thick commercial grade pad is furnished with durable vinyl upholstery.
- For extra protection against rust and wear and tear, the Super Bench PRO V2 is equipped with a textured, black powder-coated frame with chrome components.
Here is what makes this model different than the original Super Bench:
- The SB PRO V2 has a lower height of 17.2" in the flat position for increased stability and suitability for more users. This lowered height falls within the standards for competitive powerlifting.
- Wheels are included standard on one foot and a handle on the other foot. (The feet can be assembled to put the wheels on either end of the bench.)
- A wider base and larger foot tubes contribute to its improved stability.
- A separate pull pin and corner tightening knob connect bench attachments faster and more securely. This improved locking system also is simply easier to use.
- Its high-density commercial pad offers greater stability and contributes to the lower flat bench design.
Although the Super Bench PRO Version 2 (V2) is designed for home use, many personal trainers and light commercial gym owners prefer this equipment for its versatility and functionality. Our benches are used in many gyms, schools, military bases and professional training studios.

I needed a bench for a small workout area that didnt take up a lot of space and moved easy. I also wanted a better decline sit up bench. Im absolutely blown away by how well this bench achieved my goals. The attachments so far have been amazing. The sit up for legs is so comfortable. The bench really takes the weird pains out of working out that my old bowflex bench was causing. I have very high hopes for the other attachments!

Hands down the best all around bench. Great concept. Sturdy build. Solid during use. Not too heavy. Very mobile. Great attachment options.

I've had this bench for almost 2 years, I started out using a budget online bench and I didn't like it. I should have bought this bench from the start. Height is lower than other benches which is perfect for me as I'm 5 6, 170lbs. In the rack, I can plant my feet to bench. Hybrid pad is great, comfortable and sturdy. After all this time it still looks new. Incline adjustment foot pedal is super easy to use and know what angle you're using. The seat slots right into the side attachments and gives a very sturdy incline bench. I put the seat at the highest height for shoulder presses, but I prefer to be lower to the ground so I bought the seated press attachment as well. One of the highest quality benches I've seen with a great price and a large selection of sturdy high quality attachments. If you're looking around for a bench for your home gym, I highly recommend skipping the budget options and go straight for this bench. Don't make the mistake I did.

I just received our bench this week and absolutely love it. I spent months fretting over whether I wanted to spring the cash for Rep, Rogue, or one of the other smaller brands. All the other adjustable benches seemed like copies of one another. The bigger brands also charge hundreds of dollars more to get basic features such as the ability to add attachments and force you to buy their premium models.
The bench is extremely stable. With the dip attachment, it is stable as a rock with all 220 lbs of me on it. Also, some review videos said that the adjustment lever IS NOT easier than typical pin models for adjusting the angle of the bench. These opinions are WRONG. The lever makes adjusting the angle SO easy. I have been lifting for 12 years and have used many adjustable benches. This is the best by far.
I plan on expanding my Ironmaster footprint in my personal gym! I love this product. I found them through Youtube review videos.

I have always been a long-distance cardio athlete but recently started adding in strength training, starting modestly with Ironmaster dumbbells and the Super Bench Pro V2. I am very impressed with how stable the bench is. Also in various incline settings it still does not move at all. This gives a lot of confidence to add more weight and train harder, knowing that I am fully supported.
With my very limited background in strength training (i.e., I am weak) it is a pretty heavy bench and awkward to pick up and move around. This is why the built-in handles and wheels are very welcome. With some other brands, you have to pay extra for handle and wheels, so I really like this feature.
Altogether, I am very pleased with my purchase. It is the center of my home strength training practice and I have the impression that it will last for years.

I LOVE my new bench so much!! I was searching for so long and this one fits like a glove!! I can achieve any angle I want (and I am super picky). The SBPV2 is the only one I that I found that is light weight and has a seat that is 90 degrees perpendicular to the bench. It gives the feel of the bench at my gym because it supports my back in the right place. I can't tell you how happy I am with this purchase!
I highly recommend this bench!!

I waited a few weeks using this bench before writing this review. This bench is the third bench I have had in 20 years. What sets this bench apart from others is the versatility and ease of set up of the bench. The foot lever is brilliant making adjustments super fast! A plus of the design is NOT having to adjust a seat angle as second step. Sliding in the seat into position is much easier than adjusting the angle just right on other benches. The x3 positions for the seat allow you to set the seat high when doing prone exercises on the bench. For example, prone incline dumb bell rows allow you to support your spine, sit on the bench seat and allows you to keep your face over the edge of the bench and not smashed into the pad like in other designs. Doing decline press is great when you use the crunch sit up attachment. You are solidly supported with out wobble once the locking screw is tightened. Additionally, unlike other premium benches, this thing does not weigh a ton which makes it easier for my significant other to move it around. I would suggest getting a second set of wheels if you like do alot of work in a power rack. The extra set of wheels allow you move either end of the bench into position without much effort. I only wish I had bought this bench sooner, I'm very happy with it and I think many people will have the same experience.

Already have a quality bench for my outdoor workout area but needed something lighter and more compact for my new indoor setup to accompany my adjustable dumbell set to 120lbs for "feeder workouts". Was not too sure what to expect with Superbench V2 pro, but the reviews from Garage Gym Reviews on Youtube seemed favorable. Ordered the bench, dip bar, and pullup bar. After using it a few days now I am nothing but impressed. The bench quality, fit and finish is much better than I assumed. Surprisingly stable too with the pullup tower, and I'm 6ft 2in 220lbs. I tightened the pivot bolt down a little bit and it has no real lateral play now and still moves buttery smooth. Only thing I feel could be better, is the wheels for rolling it around could be a little bigger, perhaps larger diameter and width. The stock wheels are rather small/narrow and dig into my rubber/EVA foam 0.75" gym flooring creating resistance when rolling it around.

I did a lot of research and checked out several other benches, but they all seemed somewhat flimsy to me. The Super Bench Pro V2 is extremely sturdy, though. Very comfortable bench to use and your body feels well "planted" while using it. I use it for both flat and incline exercises. The foot pedal to adjust the bench is fantastic - quick and easy to use. I also got the dip bar attachment which works very well. Handles are comfortable and the spacing between the handles is good. Overall, an excellent product. The bench is so well designed and made that I don't see myself getting another bench for many, many years.

Overall a decent bench. Good versatility for a small compact bench. Reason for the 4 out of 5 stars was the powder coat had 6 to 7 chips showing the bare metal ranging from pea size to rice size. I used a black sharpie for now and if I ever take the bench from inside the home to the garage, I will touch up those chips with weather resistant paint. I am a little hesitant for bigger future Ironmaster purchases, but for a bench under $500 It's decent.

Loving the new bench. I LOVE how when it's flat it's super solid with no gaps. But then flipping it up incline is easy and fast.
Because it's a one piece design it's really light. I can definitely see why it's getting hype. Best of both worlds. I'm really glad I bought it.

I purchased the Super Bench Pro V2 with the leg extension. This is a quality product. You can tell by the weight and ease of assemble. The bench is very solid and the leg extension works effortlessly. I had a very minor issue and the customer support was terrific. I highly recommend this product.

This is an awesome piece of equipment. I got the leg, preacher and dip station attachment. Very sturdy and worth every penny. I'm on the shorter side, 5-9" and the bench being lower to the ground is a great feature.

I’d been doing research for months to figure out which adjustable bench to buy, and I’m so glad I came across this one.
Adjusting the bench is so easy to do, and my favorite part about the bench is that it is LIGHT without sacrificing stability.
Moving it around with the wheels is very easy, but it’s still light enough to pick up entirely and move around the gym.
I love using this bench and can’t recommend it enough.

I have been very satisfied with the Pro Bench V2 the build quality phenomenal worth every penny. I also purchased the crunch situp attachment which is also the same build quality. It is any easy functional bench to change from on position to another, will definitely will be adding more attachments

This is a really nice bench. Looked at lots of other brands and ended up with this one. The coupon helped seal the deal. It’s heavy enough to give lots of support but not so heavy that it’s hard to move around. It’s simple to incline and make adjustments, and it seems pretty solid when upright. I’m 6’3 so it’s borderline too short for me on the flat bench side, but not too bad. It’s growing on me. My only other complaint is the seat cushion. The stitching on the top side, especially on the corners, is not very comfortable at all. Nothing a towel can’t fix, but hoping it’ll break in soon. Overall I’m really enjoying this bench and I’m looking forward to trying some of the add ons.

This bench is solid and sturdy and a great addition to my home gym. Don't bother with the cheap benches you find on Amazon, this one is worth the money and will last a long time. I purchased the leg attachment pro along with the bench and am liking it as well. Getting used to the bench being on an incline when doing leg extensions and hamstring curls took some getting used to and I wish that there handles to hold onto when doing these exercises. Also an additional slot to slide the seat into would be nice to have when doing leg extensions. That's another thing missing. Maybe The will incorporate these things in the next version of this bench. But overall I am happy with my purchase.

Love this bench so far. I believe it to be made of high quality materials and is super sturdy.
Garrett (Kentucky) | July 24th, 2024
The bench is very sturdy and can adjust to many different angles. I haven't purchased any of the additions, but likely will in the future as this has been a great addition to the home gym. Unit arrived with some seat damage and customer support responded immediately with a replacement.

Like many others, I thoroughly researched my bench purchase, and I have no regrets on selecting the Super Bench Pro V2. Somewhat silly name aside, I think it's an excellent bench that meets my needs perfectly. Between its sturdiness (quality construction), relative light weight (maneuverability), and all of the exercises you can perform with it (versatility), I can't think of a true competitor to it. Very happy with the purchase and recommend to those wanting a bench that serves a variety of purposes.
Note From Store Owner: Thanks, Jack!

A great bench for a 6 ft person like me that has versatility with all the attachments that can be added

Best bench in the business. I recently switched from a commercial gym to a home gym. I had a cheap bench and wanted to upgrade so I poured over the research and reviews and found the Ironmaster Pro V2 bench to have everything I wanted. It's versatile, sturdy and incline/decline. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and the customer service.

High quality and sturdy piece of equipment. ive been lookin at many difrent benches out there but what sold me on this one was the floor to height distance, im 5"8 so now i can firmly plant my feet on the floor. the padding is great and wont have you slipping, the other great thing about this bench is its many attachments. now the only thing i dislike abut it is the seat when at an incline position their is slight disconfort on my legs. over all its a solid build and highly recomend it.
Chris Consalvo (San Antonio) | May 9th, 2024
Love this bench, heavy, sturdy and so many attachments possible (leg extension, dip bar, etc) I wish I bought this a year ago. I have a smaller smith machine and in order to do incline and decline press, i needed a bench that could fit and not have legs that extended too far out in front or back - this was exactly what i needed.
Matt (DE) | April 19th, 2024
Fantastic piece of equipment. I've used the bench for a month and I am quite happy with it. Other family members are using it that wouldn't use my old bench. There are many great features but the one I enjoy the most is how easy it is to move aroung.
Alex (Iron masters online) | April 17th, 2024
best sturdy very solid most flexible bench on the market does everything you want or need it to do itself or with an attachment that doesnt take up much space.

I have been using the Super Bench Pro V2 for about a month now. I am 100percent satisfied. It required very little assembly and is extremely solid and durable. This is super high quality for a home gym. The modular nature of this is fantastic. I ordered it with the leg curl and preacher curl attachments- both are excellent and easy to attach to the bench. The leg attachment is much more fluid than those I've had on past benches. I am stuck with a 75 inch basement ceiling and this bench has made my workout situation much better- if I had a higher ceiling I would add the dip attachment an lat tower as well. I highly recommend this bench, it is a great value and such an upgrade over the junk on Amazon or at your local sporting goods store.

I perfect standard IPF spec flat bench and also the most versatile bench on the market. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time.

Replaced my $150 basic bench from Amazon that has been ok for the past 4 years.
Have had this bench for about 3 weeks and the first thing I love is the reduced height of the overall pad. I can finally put my feet flat in the floor to push effectively.
Second would be the accessories that are available to grow with me over the coming years.

This is a solid adjustable bench that was easy to assemble and it's light which makes it great to move around easily. I do wish it had the increments on both sides of the foot adjustment. Other than that it's a great bench.
