The perfect bench for home gyms
Our Super Bench is more than just a dumbbell bench. We designed it to be the base of complete and high-performing home gyms. Muscle and Fitness Magazine and Men's Fitness, as well as countless websites, have featured our bench and all the powerful qualities it has that make it the perfect bench for home gym owners.
Super strong
Our adjustable bench is capable of supporting extremely heavy loads so you can press to your limits and maximise your strength gains.
- Generous load capacity. This bench is rated for 1000 lbs if set in the flat position. It can support up to 600 lbs if the incline seat is used or when tilted.
- Exceptionally strong steel. We use a combination of 11 and 12 gauge steel frames in constructing our Super Bench for guaranteed durability and strength.
- Anti-rust protection. It features powder-coated frames with chrome parts to handle your gym pounding.
- Long-lasting padding. We use a thick commercial grade pad with durable vinyl upholstery and stitching to give you many years of bench pressing.
- Warranty included. Each Super Bench comes with a 10-year warranty for the frame and structural components and a one-year warranty for the normal wear parts such as rubber, surface finishes and upholstered items. The warranty is for the original purchaser and for personal home use only.
Super versatile
The Super Bench is the epitome of what an adjustable weight training bench is and should be. From its multi-functional design that allows it to work with a growing number of Ironmaster attachments to its several lockout angles, this bench is packed with many features for a powerful total body workout.
- Multiple positions. This adjustable utility bench can be set in four positions - Flat, Incline, Decline, Upright - for effective and varied bench pressing and dumbbell pressing routines. Note: we recommend using the Crunch Situp attachment with the bench for decline angles to help hold your legs. Minimal angles are possible without the attachment.
- The incline seat in the upright position can have a 12", 14" or 16" height from the floor. (Distance from seat to top of main bench pad is 36", 34 or 32" in the highest seat position)
- Eleven lock-out angles. With a total of eleven angles - 0, 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 85 degrees - for you to choose from, your bench pressing workouts are sure to be challenging, exciting and never boring.
- Accepts a growing list of attachments. We designed our Super Bench to be a real workhorse in any gym. More attachments are still being developed for the future, but in the meantime, our bench can be used together with the following accessories:
- A solid foundation for home gym training. Use this bench with your other Ironmaster equipment such as Quick-Lock adjustable dumbbells, Olympic bars, IM2000 smith machine/ half rack for the ultimate home gym training experience.
- Suited for home and light commercial use. The Super Bench was originally designed for personal home use, but owing to its excellent construction and superior functionality, many personal trainers and owners of fitness studios have included it in their gyms for the use of their clients as well.
Super comfortable
We use only premium quality materials in every Super Bench we make to help you stay focused during your intense bench and dumbbell pressing workouts.
-
- Commercial quality pad. Our Super Bench features a 44" x 10" x 3" thick commercial grade pad. The included incline seat is made of the same high-quality material. The backrest pad is 31" above the seat in the highest position.
- Firm support. Our thick bench pad will not give you that uncomfortable sinking feeling while you're lifting a heavy Olympic bar or pair of dumbbells.
- Vinyl upholstery. Our pad comes wrapped in vinyl material for your enhanced comfort.
Tapered seat. The included incline seat has a tapered edge so it will not cut into the inside of your legs. It can also be adjusted up or down for your optimal comfort.
Super safe
Every inch of our Super Bench has been carefully and expertly designed to ensure your safety for the entire duration of your workout.
- Superb locking power. Once you have adjusted the bench into your desired lockout angle and secured it in place with our patented angle adjustment ring with foot lever, you can rest assured it will stay that way until you finish your workout.
- Ultra stable. Regardless of whether you choose the Flat, Incline, Decline, or Upright position, our Super Bench will not produce any shaking or trembling movement.
- No slips and slides. Unlike the benches from our competitors, the Super Bench is designed to stay locked at all times and at any angle. Our incline seat follows the backrest pad without any breaks or shallow angles that can result in the user to accidentally slide off.
Super easy to set-up and use
Even the most beginner of trainers will find our Super Bench very easy to assemble and use.
- Pre-assembled parts. This bench will arrive at your doorstep with pre-assembled components (with the exception of the feet) so you can start lifting and blasting your arms after only a few minutes!
- Simple tools only. Setting up our Super Bench requires the use of very simple tools to make the assembly process easier for you.
- Dual-sided operation. Whether you are left-handed or right-handed, you will find our adjustable bench a breeze to use because our unique bench angle adjustment ring with foot lever can be operated from both sides of the bench. This innovative gear has a patented design US 6,994,661.
- Quick Change. Change positions in just seconds. No need to bend over looking for a pull pin, just operate the foot lever and rotate.
- Pin-less seat. The included incline seat attaches easily from the side of the bench without any need for pins.
- Effortless transfers. Our Super Bench can be easily transferred and moved to another part of your gym. Nothing needs to be adjusted prior to transport and nothing unfolds during the actual transit. The bench weighs 60 lbs on its own, and 65 lbs if the incline seat is included. The bench measures 44" long x 18.75" wide x 20" high in the flat position. The frame has an 18.75" x 41" footprint.

Nice, but at a price Very pricey but it does feel premium and secure (600lbs rated incline....1000lbs flat); all the variety of angles is nice. I wish it wasn't so high off the ground but for the purposes of attachments - I suppose it makes sense. I really think the leg attachment should come with the bench as is such that you can do decline bench (you can't without it). If I recall, the shipping is pricey as well. Posted on Amazon.com

"It's OK" I've owned this bench for about a year. Let me start off by saying I really like IronMaster Products. Their dumbbells are awesome! I own the DB set and add on weights. I own the situp attachment for this bench. I also own an EFS flat bench which I'll mention below. Now lets get to this bench. Pros: Easy to change angle Decent Price Lots of available attachments Quality of build Cons: Too Tall Narrow legs Narrow PAD Seat not very comfortable on heavy movements Not easy to move around This bench will get the job done, and for the price isn't not bad. However, I expected more. Firstly this bench is too tall. I'm 6'3'' and I still find that the bench is too tall. I find that when doing incline situps on the bench it has a slight wobble. When doing heavy incline BB presses the seat digs into my upper inner thighs enough to leave marks. I think this could be due to the benches height. One of the things I hate the most is the narrowness of the pad. I'm accustomed to the wider pad on my EFS bench. I find that the narrow pad doesn't provide the support I'd like. It's also more cumbersome to move around than other benches. I've set this bench down on my foot at least 10 times by accident. I don't have this problem with other benches. The Good: I really like how easy this bench is to adjust. I feel that the angling mechanism is robust and will support heavy loads. Also, even though I don't own all the attachments, I can see how someone could put together a decent home training area. At least for normal people (aka non-powerlifters, non-bodybuilders). It also seems to be durable and well built. I can see it lasting a good long time. When it comes to price I think this bench is reasonable. Compared to other adjustable benches on the market it's a pretty good deal. However, If I had to do it all again I'd probably spend the $815 on a Rouge AB-2 or a similar product. Good for money, but Versatile bench, but it is too tall in the flat position. Ideal flat bench is going to be around 16.5 for 5' 8" and under, 17" for 5'8" to 6', and 17.5" for 6' and above. You need the drive from the floor to the hips to get maximum power. Besides IPF regulation is like 16.6" to 17.75" max. This bench is like 20" in the flat position. Ironically, in the upright position, the bench is too short for tall guys. It requires you to drop the seat to the bottom slot and positions your knee height above your hips, which is not ideal. It is a solid bench considering the unique design, but commercial benches are much stronger and also more expensive. Posted on Amazon.com

Solid bench but one huge drawback Excellent for doing sit-up (if you have the attachment), incline presses, shoulder presses, and seated dumbell curls. Heed my word when I tell you that it is nearly impossible to bench flat. I'm 5'11. Unless you have very long legs you are not reaching the floor with your feet without straining your back. When I want to bench flat, I have to raise the platform for my feet. Poor design in this regard. Posted on Amazon.com

Boy, it's high off the ground The bench is solid and sturdy. I love everything about it except when it's in flat bench position it sits so high I can't plant my feet firmly on the floor. I am 6' 3" and when I lay on the bench I can't get my feet flat on the floor for a stable base to lift heavy. I can't believe that no one has mentioned this before. One good thing about this is, you can't cheat when benching., Posted on Amazon.com

Good quality but I wouldn't recommend it I bought this product to go with the Ironmaster adjustable dumbells (which I am extremely happy with), and although it is a good sturdy bench of good construction there are some serious design flaws - the seat can only go on at a 90 degree angle to the bench which is fine when sitting straight up or declined at a slight angle. But if you rotate it back any further it becomes a real pain in the rear (literally!). I basically only use it as a flat bench or as a straight up chair. Sometimes I will is use it a few settings above flat with no seat to do some incline bench, but most of the settings in between are useless. If you really want to do some seated incline, you need a bench that allows the seat to adjust separately from the back. Posted on Amazon.com

Super Bench Is Not So Super After extensive research for my first purchase of an adjustable dumbell set and weight bench, I was ready. I had read numerous positive reviews of Ironmaster products by experts and even "test drove" the bench in a store. I thought I was making a good purchasing decision. I was very excited when I started opening the box that contained my new super bench. Disappointment quickly set in as I noticed that the backrest had been installed backwards. That is to say that when the bench backrest is in the upright position, the Ironmaster logo is at the bottom, not the top, and it was upside down. I also noticed that the seat has a round chrome colored button that I guess holds the seat trim together. The seat was attached with this button showing outwards when the seat is installed to the backrest of the bench. This appears to be backwards as well. As first impressions are important, I believe this may be a good bench, but defects in assembly have me questioning the quality of this product. I hope I have better luck with the other Ironmaster products I have ordered. The bench is being returned, and I'll cross my fingers on the replacement and hope it is correct. Posted on Amazon.com

Really a 3.5.... read why! I agree that this bench is versatile, especially given all the possible attachments. However, it does have some design flaws or at least shortcomings in my opinion. First... the legs are not wide enough to give the bench stability when used with attachments such as for the dip and chin. It is serviceable for other exercises, but if it was only an inch or two wider on each side it would be much better. Second... With this bench you need to change attachments frequently. Unfortunately, the bolt and pin assembly that is used to make these changes is plastic on the part that you apply leverage to. While I don't know of one breaking, it certainly looks like this would be a probably outcome over time. You must also insert the pin and screw it tight with the plastic part referenced above to fully engage the attachments into the frame. We could put spaceships on the moon, but we can't come up with something better here? How much could this improvement cost? Third... if you are using this unit in a confined area, you will need to move it around in order to switch from flat or incline to decline. This requires removing the seat, adding the situp attachment and reversing your direction. If your set up is close to a wall... you will also have to move the bench. This is speculation on my part, but if you buy the dumbbell spotting system, it appears that the bench gets more stable from the cross bracing. If you buy the chin up and dip attachments first, you will almost certainly NEED to incur an extra $200+ expense. Who knows if this is intentional, but as another reviewer points out, you don't find some things out until you start using the bench. On the upside, there are many angle settings, seat positions, etc. The bench also is well padded and looks durable. As other reviewers point out, assembly is easy and this unit has a small footprint. It's rated for heavy weight, but interestingly the seat doesn't lock, it just slips in and as I mentioned above, I don't think the base is wide enough. For weights up to 200-300 lbs. I don't see a major problem, but I would want a spotter if I were handling anything heavier because of the possibility of tipping. (I don't handle weights that heavy, but I'm sure some of you might.) At the price point, this is a good buy. However, be prepared to spend more money if you want to take advantage of all the features. As one reviewer mentioned, you can't even do decline anything without buying another attachment. I felt this was somewhat misleading given the description of the bench as it was written when I purchased mine. I suspect this would be GREAT with all the attachments. I'm already heavily committed, but in the end the total cost will be quite high. I think the manufacturer should at least through in the situp attachment that is REQUIRED for decline exercises given that it is advertised as a decline bench. It's a good bench, just be aware of what you are getting and what you are NOT! Posted on Amazon.com
