Does not work well with quick change exercises such as super sets or drop sets I generally use this gear 4 times a week, and it's worth the price. Very few companies put out 5 star products, but this is the real deal. Posted on Amazon.com

Good at first... I bought these a little less than a year ago and at first they were wonderful, but soon after the locking mechanism would not tighten. As advertised, I dropped them on occasion when lifting heavy and this caused a chip on the serrated part of the locking mechanism. so I had to buy another one from the manufacturer. Great customer service on their end. Months later the same thing happened and won't tighten again. I'd rather buy individual dumbbells as it's quicker and easier. Plus you don't have to worry about the weights dropping on your head due to a faulty locking mechanism. If you you refrain from dropping weights, this is a good product for you. Probably why I will never be invited to Planet Fitness :) Posted on Amazon.com
