I got the IM2000 and a set of the olympic weights. Having the sleeve makes retrieval and return very easy and the weights stay where they're put. If you're getting or have olympic weights, this is almost a must-have.

I was a little hesitant on purchasing these at first. But I am so glad I did! Even though they are plastic, it is very heavy duty plastic and I can’t seeing them wearing out. Not cheap at all! It helps the weights slide smoothly on and off. Definitely worth the purchase!

These greatly enhance the look of the rack and really keeps the weights more securely and allows them to slide on and off with ease. You have to tighten more than you would think but once you do they typically don't need re-tightening for a while. The only gripe is these should come with the rack for free but still a great product.

I personally really like these. They have an inset setscrew to lock them in place. Look and function very well. The Ironmaster plates which buy the are really the best for the money, slide on them very easily and dont scratch them AT ALL. They really are a must if you use the Ironmaster plates. Their strong, made of some very hard material and have nice encaps on them. I feel their a bit pricey but if your investing in the IM 2000, their great and will definitely last well. Mine have never been scratched. The plates slide on and off effortlessly Awesome product

These are ok. I like that they fit well and the discreet screw to lock them in place. However, they scratch really easily, and my cast iron plates are fairly smooth on the inside. I feel like I have to be super careful taking the weights off of the sleeves every time I remove one.
