- To install the Legpress Plate, just raise the lifting bar of your IM2000, set the safety stops under it and connect this attachment to the bar shaft using the clamps found under the plate. The flat surface of the attachment should be facing down.
- Rotate the latches over the lifting bar and turn the knobs to tighten.
- Place your bench under the bar at a flat or slight decline angle, depending on your desired level of comfort or difficulty.

Don’t get me wrong, I love ironmaster’s stuff, but this falls a bit short. For one thing, it wouldn’t be hard at all to make this a bigger platform so your whole foot could fit on here. It’s very narrow as is. Another thing that would have made this a five star product is if there was a way to change the angle of the plate itself. Vertical leg presses are great but it is very difficult to achieve full depth without a good deal of elevation in the heels. Lastly, it would be nice to see a diamond plate patter on this. Really hoping Ironmaster updates this product. I’ll be first in line to buy. They are great at listening to customer feedback so hoping so.
