Description
The Ironmaster Hybrid Bench Pad for the Super Bench/PRO offers trainers the best of both worlds. Since we have received requests for a wider bench pad, but many users like our normal pad width, we designed one that has a 12.25" width on one half of the pad and the standard 10.25" width on the other. The wider side of this dual-width bench pad provides optimal shoulder support for bench pressing while the standard side offers an extensive range of motion.
This bench pad is sold as an accessory and can easily be bolted onto your existing Super Bench/PRO to replace the standard bench pad that came with your adjustable utility bench.
High-level comfort and support
The Hybrid Bench Pad combines the standard size bench pad on one half and a wider one on the other half. The foam is also of higher density like the one on the PRO bench for extra stability.
- This dual-width bench pad is 44" long x 10.25" wide on the upper half and 12.25" wide on the lower half.
- Bench press on the wider side for optimal shoulder support if you like a wider pad - or lie down on the standard side to execute movements with a greater range of motion.
- It's sturdy vinyl upholstery has a special carbon fiber pattern.
- The 2.5" thick cushion is made of high-density commercial grade foam to provide you with firm but comfortable support.
Excellent compatibility and fit
The Hybrid Bench Pad is compatible with the Ironmaster Super Bench and Super Bench PRO V2. The standard incline seat also fits well on this dual-width pad so there is no trade-off.
- The Hybrid Bench Pad fits the Ironmaster Super Bench and Super Bench PRO perfectly.
- It uses the same hardware as the standard bench pads used on both benches for easy and convenient installation. Simply bolt this in place after unbolting the original standard size pad.
The standard incline seat can still be attached even with this wider bench pad.
Notes:
- The Ironmaster Super Bench/PRO is not included.
- This bench pad is sold as an accessory. If you're getting a Super Bench/PRO and want the Hybrid Bench Pad, you will need to purchase it separately as we cannot swap it for the original bench pad.

I wish the Ironmaster stitching was on it like the OG. Otherwise, it’s fantastic.

I have had my original bench and dumbells for over 12 years. The bench seams had started coming apart so I decided to purchase this hybrid. It definitely looks good and seems to be very well made. As others have said, it is very slippery. Compared to the original pad this one is as hard as a rock and like laying on a plank. I have only had it for a few weeks so it may soften up. Other then that I have always been satisfied with Ironmaster products.

This pad is almost perfect. It's certainly an upgrade to the standard pad -- and a necessary one if you plan on flat benching semi-heavy weights. But "grippy" it is not. It's marginally more grippy than the standard pad and definitely not grippy enough to feel "locked" in like you would on leading flat benches (e.g. Rep, Rogue). If they had used a material like Rep does, it would be absolutely perfect. As is, I had to buy a $20 pad from One Strong Herd so I could use this as a flat bench as it was intended without feeling like I was on a slippy commercial bench.
Other than that this is great. I love that it's tapered. It provides the best of both worlds. The narrow side is way better than a standard 12" pad for getting good stretches in DB work, and the 12" side is the perfect width for supporting back/shoulders while flat benching heavy. While it's a pity I had to spend over $100 (this plus the pad) to turn the Super Pro into what it should be out of the box, it's still a tremendous value overall if you're buying even a few attachments.
