Barbell Adapter for Spotting Stand
Our Barbell Adapter for Spotting Stand is a must-have for barbell lifters who train alone. This heavy-duty adapter enhances the functionality of our Dumbbell Spotting Stand for SB/PRO so you can use it with a standard barbell or Olympic barbell. Performing safe upper body barbell exercises at home with an Ironmaster Super Bench or Super Bench PRO is now possible.
Highly durable and safe
Our Barbell Adapter has been designed with your safety in mind so you will never have to worry about lifting heavy bars alone at the comfort of your own home. This is only the adapters. A Dumbbell Spotting Stand or Spotting Stand Base is required for use.
- Included are two uprights with 1" solid bar pegs, all made from high-quality steel.
- This barbell adapter is rated for 350lbs.
- The steel uprights are guaranteed to be stable so you can lift without fear of injuring yourself.
- Must be used with the Spotting Stand Base and Super Bench/PRO. User must be positioned on the bench during use. Not to be used stand alone.
- This adapter is not designed for squats.
Easy to use
Just like our Dumbbell Spotting Stand - which must be used together with our Barbell Adapter - this handy pair of uprights is likewise extremely easy to use.
Simply replace the saddles from the Dumbbell Spotting Stand with the barbell uprights then lock them in place using the pull pins.
Flexible uprights
You can set the uprights in the narrow or wide position depending on the length of your barbell.
- Olympic bars will fit the uprights in the wide position. Your barbell must have at least 48" between the inside collars to safely fit in this position. Bars shorter than 7 feet have limited dimensions so make sure that you check first.
- Smaller straight bars will fit the narrow position. We do recommend using the wide position if your bar is wide enough to fit that position.
Space-Saving
Our Barbell Adapter is ideal for home gyms as it won't take up a lot of space in your workout area.
- Its maximum frame height is only 57".
- The frame width in the wide position is 47.5" (42.5" inside).
- The frame width in the narrow position is 24" (19" inside).
- The maximum bar peg height is 51", and the minimum is 41".
- The distance between pegs is 7".

There is no rubber or anything where the barbell rests so the paint is coming off where the knurling rests...
