This is a great set of plates to use with an IM2000 machine or other equipment. Ironmaster Olympic weight plates are steps above competitor substitutes featuring a durable rubber encasing that helps protect your home gym floor and other surfaces against the hard metal surface that other brands of Olympic plates have. In addition to added protection, the rubber coating helps minimize noise in your home gym while exercising. Our customers that exercise early in the morning love this feature as it helps keep them from being too loud while lifting and causing unwanted disturbances in the house, especially those with young children that they don't want to wake up. Each plate is embossed with the Ironmaster logo.
These plates have some natural rubber odor, as with all rubberized weights, however the odor is lower than most other brands. You should expect some smell if used in an enclosed space when new, but this will diminish over time as they are exposed to the air. Weight tolerance is +/- 3%.

I love these plates. When you factor in free shipping the price is outstanding for rubber coated grip plates. They have the normal exceptional quality I've come to expect from IronMaster. Outstanding customer service on my order and fast shipping. The rubber smell is to be expected and does go away. I'm going to pick up another set and slowly replace all of my steel Olympic plates

These weights are great! Weights are true to tolerances. The stainless steel insets (center rings) allow weights to glide onto olympic bars and sleeve adapters very easily. The weights are easy to grip as well. The subtle rubber smell goes away quickly after opening the boxes and packaging. The weights have a nice durable feel to them. You can't beat the price for this quality of an olympic weight set! If you are in the market for olympic plates, I would highly recommend these.

Very nice set of coated plates with stainless centers. Weight is spot on and tolerances looks great. Their was a rubber smell for a few days after unpacking them and putting them in my gym but if faded quickly. For the price I would definitely buy this set of weights again.
